Hi members.
I hope after reading this post, you all are clear of what to do and don't come for practices just for the sake of attendance.

The band is taking part in the SIBF. And by the look of our standard, you know the result.
Mistakes that are pointed out during combined band are always being made repeatedly. I've really no idea why.

All of you are supposed to do your own score-study at home! I should not be always sending messages to keep reminding you all to do your score-study. It's your job to do so. Thus, through this, it reveals that you've no self-initiative.

For the sec1s, I believe you all can do much more better than what you're doing right now.
Actually, I do not really see any hard works being put in by you guys.
I've to repeat the same fundamental problems again & again. Why?
Since you know that's where you're weak in, why not do your own self-practice at home?

Reminder: SIBF is seriously round the corner. We've only a few months before it arrived.
I sincerely hope all of you will really do your score-study at home.

We'll be playing Eagle Bend for SIBF. Hence, I believe you all know what to do next.
Follow the 10 steps to score-study, as what MsTan taught during Band camp.
I believe it's still in your mind right now. If not, you'd better be doing something.

Not only that, you've to do your score-study on the following songs:
EAGLE BEND
POSTCARD FROM SINGAPORE
STUDIO GHIBLI ANIME MEDLEY
FANFARE OF THE WAKAKUSA HILL

For FANFARE OF THE WAKAKUSA HILL, you're to get that piece memorised.
There'll be audition for this!!

Lastly, everyone have to prepare your state of mind. You're to have the competition-ready state of thinking. This means that, at anytime, no matter what, you're forever ready for competitons. Fearless.
Yes, sososososo, I know you know that you'll definitely be able to conquer this.

I trust every single one of you that you're able to be independent by doing score-study/self-training at home.

Dare to make mistakes, because
Mistakes show us what needs improving. Without mistakes, how would we know what we had to work on?

So what are you waiting for? Just do it!
Every single one of you makes a difference to the band sound.
There's really Improvements made in some areas already, keep going! Always strive towards the besttt!
